LEARNING A LANGUAGE FOR TRAVEL PURPOSES.

1. Take a language course: There are many language schools and online courses that offer classes specifically for travellers. These courses focus on practical vocabulary and phrases that will be useful for navigating a new country. For instance, if you are planning to travel to Kenya, you have to learn Swahili.

2. Use language learning apps: There are many language learning apps available that cater to travellers. These apps often focus on conversational phrases and can be a convenient way to practice language skills.

3. Practice with a language partner: Find a native speaker of the language you want to learn and practice with them. This can be done through language exchange programs, online language forums, or local language meetups.

4. Immerse yourself in the language: Listen to music, see movies, and read books in the language you want to learn. Immersing yourself in the language will help you become more familiar with the sounds and structure of the language.

5. Use flashcards: Create flashcards with useful vocabulary and phrases and review them regularly. This can help you quickly learn and retain important words and expressions.

6. Practice speaking: Find opportunities to practice speaking the language, whether it's with native speakers, language exchange partners, or by speaking to yourself in the mirror.

7. Use the language while travelling: Once you're in a country where the language is spoken, don't be afraid to use it. Even if you make mistakes, locals will appreciate your effort and it will help you improve your language skills.
